Sesi Technologies Welcomes Two Interns from Bridge-The-Gap Programme

Last updated: February 5, 2019

Sesi Technologies is excited to have two interns, Esther Baaba Adu-Mensah and Jennifer Agolisu from the Bridge the Gap training program join our team. The Bridge The Gap programme, run by Kumasi Hive and funded by GIZ, is an attempt to get more women in the field of science and technology. Last year, the programme trained 60 young women in Web Development and 3D Printing.

Out of the 60 women, about half were put into a business incubator to help them build entrepreneurial skills. The rest were assigned to startups to help them develop skills useful in the corporate world while improving on skills they learnt during the program.

Sesi Technologies partnered with Kumasi Hive to provide internship opportunities to some of these ladies. For the next 2 months, Baaba and Jennifer will understudy our team, improve their 3D design and CAD skills and learn new, relevant skills they will need to thrive in the corporate world.
