Sesi Technologies has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with DIPPER Lab at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and Agrinvest Limited to accelerate the adoption of data-driven agriculture among young farmers in Ghana.

The partnership integrates Sesi Technologies’ FarmSense soil intelligence solution with mechanisation services delivered under the Strengthened Access to Mechanisation for Agribusinesses for Youth Employment Opportunities (SAMA) initiative. The collaboration aims to equip youth agripreneurs with practical tools to improve productivity, optimise input use, and promote sustainable soil management.

FarmSense provides field-level soil data, including key fertility indicators, and generates actionable nutrient management recommendations. By combining soil intelligence with mechanisation access, the partnership will enable young farmers to make informed agronomic decisions, reduce inefficiencies in fertiliser application, and increase yields while protecting long-term soil health.

Under the agreement, Sesi Technologies will:

• Deploy FarmSense devices to selected youth agripreneurs and mechanisation service providers.

• Deliver structured training on soil health assessment, soil sampling protocols, and data-driven farm management.

• Support internship and capacity-building opportunities for young people involved in agricultural innovation.

• Monitor and evaluate adoption, productivity improvements, and soil health outcomes to measure impact.

The initiative will begin with a pilot phase in selected districts, followed by a phased scale-up based on performance, learning, and measurable results.
