Last updated: May 1, 2019

We are excited to announce that Sesi Technologies has made it to the regional finals of the ASME ISHOW, a global competition for hardware led social innovations which will take place in Kenya on the 9th of May 2019.

The prize package includes a cash prize of $30,000 to be shared among the three emerging winners as well as the opportunity to take part in the ISHOW Bootcamp in New York. This year, Ghana is represented by two startup companies Sesi Technologies and SAYeTECH Company Ltd. Other countries represented in the ISHOW competition include Kenya, Uganda and South Africa.

Being part of this competition means that Sesi Technologies will have the opportunity to pitch our flagship product GrainMate GM-101 Moisture Meter to a panel of judges and stands a chance of being one of the three potential winners.

The GrainMate GM-101 is an easy to use moisture meter technology developed locally to meet international standards, It enables local farmers to determine the moisture content of their grains before storage to help reduce post-harvest losses.

As part of the competition, there is also a social voting round from May 2nd to May 9th where the project with the most votes will receive a separate $1,000 prize. Help us win the social voting round by voting for us here every 24 hours.
