Introducing Our New Team Members

A month ago, we were joined by two brilliant and vibrant young men. A month later we have again been joined by another three young and intelligent individuals. Making a total of five new additions to the Sesi Technologies team. Read on to find out more about our new members.

Emmanuel Boadi Kyei

Emmanuel is our new Head of Marketing, Sales and Business Development. He previously worked with International Development Enterprises Ghana, where he was the Territory Sales Manager. He was responsible for identifying new territories and ready markets for water filtration systems. While there, he made great strides in helping deliver clean drinking water to residents within the Oboasi district.

Emmanuel, while with us, will be responsible for developing, executing and monitoring all marketing and sales initiatives. He will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with new and existing customers, partners and prospects. Emmanuel holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Studies from the University of Cape Coast, a Certificate of Financial Risk Management from Presbyterian University College, Ghana and Leadership and Teamwork from Watsan Training and Development Center, Mombasa-Kenya. Emmanuel enjoys Traveling and Participating in outdoor activities during his leisure.

 

Godfrey Elia Nkolokosa

Godfrey joins as a Business Development Intern. His responsibilities include researching business development opportunities and developing financial models for upcoming products. Godfrey graduated from Blantyre Secondary School, Malawi and is currently at the University of Strathclyde in Scotland studying Economics and Finance. His areas of focus include, Risk Management, Diploma (Alison Learning Centre), Risk Management, Certificate (Oxford Home Study Center) amongst others. Godfrey enjoys Sketching, Reading, Meditation, Gaming and game streaming during his leisure.

 

Benjamin Aboagye

Benjamin joins our team as a Mechanical Engineering Intern. His roles include assisting in the development of mechanical engineering designs and the provision of engineering services. Our engineering services include; 3D printing, laser cutting and marking, CNC machining, amongst others. Benjamin graduated from St. Augustine’s College, Cape Coast and is currently attending Ashesi University. He enjoys playing football and engaging in political discussions.

 

Nalin Jayaswal

Nalin joins us as a Product Development Intern and will assist the research and product development team. Nalin is currently a senior high school student of Amity International School in India. He studies Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Economics. Nalin speaks 3 languages and enjoys learning Guitar and writing Poetry.

 

Karen Mends

Karen also joins our team as a Product Development Intern assisting in agronomy research. Karen is an incoming freshman at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She holds an IB Diploma from SOS Hermann Gmeiner International College. Karen loves to sing, dance, braid hair and play basketball.

Afua Ansah

Afua also joins our team as a Product Development Intern assisting in the research and product development team. Afua is a second-year Electrical and Computer Engineering student at Cornell University.

While we work to fulfil our mission of empowering smallholder farmers with affordable technologies, we are also working to create an environment where young, ambitious people can learn, thrive, build their careers and accomplish great things while contributing to our mission. As a team, we are extremely excited to have you all joining us to work towards an Africa where smallholder farmers are perpetually prosperous. Welcome to #TeamSesi!
